HCASC is holding an annual December Holiday Party is this Wednesday starting at 7 pm. Hosted at the ARL, we will provide a festive leadership dinner with local student leaders from all around the county. We will be discussing certain issues that we’d like underclassmen participation with. Please come dressed up and eager to learn about things like county government involvement and service project ideas that can influence your community this Holiday season, and in the upcoming year 2010.

Hope to see you there!

HCASC Officers,

Unfortunately, nobody stepped forward by Monday evening with a chaperone to accompany students wishing to go to Annapolis on Saturday for the Maryland Black Legislative Caucus Youth Summit. Therefore, there will be no field trip arrangements and no bus provided by the school system. You are free to attend on your own, of course, but please be certain your parents know that the trip is not being sponsored by a school or the school system.

All officers, please remember that if you hear of an opportunity you would like us to pursue, I must have lots of details. Provide me with the event name, sponsoring organization, location, meeting details, and a contact name and number. We can usually make quick arrangements if all the details are in place, if we can contact an in-charge person to answer our questions, and if we can arrange supervision.
Thank you for understanding.
